Hey...Update

I've got several things to share. Firstly, yesterday I had Sable put down. The one who inspired my username, my old lady, that Siamese cat that I've had since I was 4 or 5. It's very, very odd to walk into my room and not see her sitting there and meowing in greeting..but uh, I had to have it done. She was over 20 years old, peeing all over my carpet, terribly thin, snotty, and stumbling sometimes in her walk. So, it was time.
I'll be doing art later, probably, to remember her by. But yeah. She's gone. I'll be probably be getting another cat soon...

In lighter terms, I recently used most of the money I've earned this summer in the daycare to buy a Macbook Pro. The online class that I'm still taking (finishing lesson 7 out of 9 now) encourages students to get out and paint tons of still lifes and plein airs. My old laptop could barely handle Photoshop, so I splurged and got a beauty (to me). It's 13.3", late 2013, retina display, with 16G of memory. I've never had a Mac before, let alone something this fancy, so it's a real treat for me. My studies aren't the most interesting things ever, but I might start posting my favorites.

Lastly, that time of the year is rolling around again. I'll be going back to school in a week or so, this time as a senior. I think I'm ready for it; as usual I feel that I didn't spend my time as well as I could have (though I did try), so I'm ready to give up the struggle and reenter the routine. I'll planning on staying at the daycare until 5:30 almost every day after school during the week, so I won't have much time for drawing once school starts.

Again I'm sorry for not being very active here. I've been doing a decent amount of art but I only upload a tiny portion of what I make now because most of it is not very good/interesting. I should get myself to post more anyway though.
